hey guys - i am really bumming - nanni is terribly sick. i don't know if i should be parying that she gets better or praying that she dies peacefully. i don't know if i am being selfish or not wanting her to live - but when you hit 89 should you have to live in constant pain with severe pneumonia? i don't know. i am just sad - i spent all day at the hospital and i am on my way back. please pray for her! <3 you!

hey everyone! I am SOOOO looking forward to this thursday!!! I am looking forward to a night out with great friends and some news to share. - yes Jen - it's REALLY here! I could use a beer right now - make that a whole friggin case of beer! UGH! there is somthing wrong with the "chiller" that regulates the temp in this freakin building! I can't stand it! first of all - i am dressed for dinner - i have to go to the "formal" dinner at the assisted living i work for tonight. it is the resident/staff christmas dinner - so here I am in a black skirt and a sequin sweater and it is freaking 96 degrees in this part of the building. AND - the "chiller" i speak of is located diectly under my cubicle and every 4 minutes exactly - it starts to bang and vibrate and shakes my entire cublicle and the banging and vibrating lasts for 2 minutes each time. go figure - it happens so often that jeanette, jodi and I can predict when the next "episode" will be - AND this has been going on for two full days and the maintenance people don;t know how to fix it! so far today - push pins have flown off my wall, pictures have fallen down, things have slid off my desk onto the floor where the continue to dance around until the annoying crap stops. and when you have a distraction problem that is going to last for the rest of my life - this is NOT a good situation - it interrupts what I am doing EVERY FREAKING 4 MINUTES! I took 1/2 my work and went over to the other department just to get some things accomplished today. yipee. oh well - that is my week in a nut shell - tomorrow is my short day! YAY - maybe i won;t have to listen to this crap all day. and the scary this is - if it goes off every 3 minutes and lasts 2 minutes - it happens a mere 105 time in the course of my day! UGH! I won't have to listen to it 27 times tomorrow. LOL - leave it to the accountant to figure that out! ok - i am out - i can't take it anymore!
